NEX Team Inc. offers a one-year limited warranty for the Nex Playground and any accessories included with the original purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal personal use, starting from the date the product is delivered to the original buyer. It is designed to provide the initial purchaser with assurance that the product will function as intended and to protect against specific manufacturing defects that may arise within the warranty period, provided that all specified conditions are met. The warranty is intended solely for the original purchaser and is not transferable.
If a defect that qualifies under the warranty is detected during the coverage period, and the proper procedures are followed, NEX has the discretion to determine the most appropriate remedy. Depending on the situation and applicable legal requirements, solutions may include repairing the product using new or refurbished parts, providing a replacement unit of equivalent quality, or issuing a refund, which may be full or partial. Replacement units become the property of the customer, while the original or returned product remains with NEX. Any repaired or replaced product continues to be covered under the warranty for either the remaining time of the original period or at least ninety days after the service, whichever is longer, unless local laws require otherwise.
To make a warranty claim, customers must contact NEX through the designated support channels. After the request is reviewed and approved, detailed instructions will be provided on how and where to return the item. Proof of purchase is required to verify eligibility, and the item should be securely packaged, ideally in its original packaging or a comparable protective alternative. Items sent without prior authorization or to an incorrect address may not be eligible for warranty service.
Customers should be aware that the warranty process may involve technical procedures that could impact data stored on the device. During inspection, repair, or replacement, the product may be reset, reformatted, or updated, potentially resulting in the loss of stored files, applications, or personal information. Users are responsible for backing up any important data before submitting the product. Software updates applied during service may also prevent returning to earlier versions, and recovery of lost data is not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, exposure to liquids, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or repairs performed outside approved channels. Items that naturally degrade over time, such as batteries, as well as cosmetic damage like scratches or dents, are excluded. Products purchased through unauthorized sellers, used commercially, or with altered or removed identification numbers are not eligible, nor are software services associated with the device.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, this limited warranty replaces all other warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. NEX is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss, lost profits, or costs of replacement products. Any liability is limited to the amount paid for the product. Suppliers and licensors associated with NEX have no additional obligations. Where certain limitations are unenforceable, liability will be adjusted according to local legal requirements.
